Dorchester Bay EDC was proud to host Senator Edward Markey and U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Administrator Isabel Casillas Guzman at our Indigo Block development last week for a press event featuring Dorchester Bay EDC CEO Kimberly R. Lyle.
They announced that the U.S. Small Business Administration will expand support for green small businesses and create opportunity for mission-based lenders like Dorchester Bay EDC to pair Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund (GGRF) capital with SBA loan guarantees and other resources.
The solar panels recently installed on Indigo Block by Resonant Energy are an example of what’s possible at the intersection of affordable housing, small business, job creation, and climate resilience.
